The KiJiK Canoe Company was formed in 1986, and builds traditional Cedar Canvas Canoes.
KiJiK, pronounced (Kee-jik) is the Algonquin Indian word for cedar.
KiJiK Canoes are very deep, stable craft, that are exceptionally good for tandem tripping and perform like a leaf on the water for solo canoeists. A traditional canoe allows you to enjoy nature.
